Ok so I dreamt it was like a week ago about this girl whose face I can't remember though I know I should. She's on the ground floor of my childhood apartment and my high school mates are asking her whether we kissed or not they are nosy and I don't like it the girl tells them something then walks away with me. We pass by some place selling fish and I ask her to buy that so we can cook but she says she'll buy better ones. We reach her place and she cooks and served me. She then plays a certain video and I ask her whether her mom died and she says yes breaking down and I comfort her I don't remember if I kissed her or not. Then she says she lives by herself with her younger sibling who was a daycare at the moment. I think she's my gf or sth I'm not sure
Dreams often act as a reflection of our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and unresolved conflicts. In your dream, several key elements present various aspects of your life and emotions.
The Unfamiliar Girl: The girl whose face you can’t remember might symbolize an aspect of yourself or someone in your life that you aren’t fully acknowledging. She could represent your desire for connection or intimacy, possibly reflecting a longing for relationships that are deeper and more meaningful, but also your struggle to clearly define your feelings and emotions in such situations.
Childhood Apartment: The setting of your childhood apartment indicates a return to your roots or the past. This space is often associated with feelings of nostalgia, safety, or unresolved issues from earlier in your life. It could signify a need to revisit past experiences or relationships to better understand your present emotions.
Nosy High School Mates: Their nosiness suggests external pressures or societal expectations surrounding your relationships. This aspect of the dream might express discomfort with how others perceive your romantic life or a feeling of being scrutinized regarding your personal choices.
The Fish Market: Your desire to buy fish can symbolize a desire for nourishment and connection. The act of cooking together can represent intimacy and the nurturing side of relationships, emphasizing your wish to build something meaningful with someone.
Her Mother’s Death: The moment when she reveals that her mother has passed and breaks down is quite significant. Death in dreams often signifies transformation or the end of one phase of life and the beginning of another. This could symbolize personal struggles or feelings of loss, whether related to actual experiences you or someone close to you has faced or perhaps fears you grapple with regarding loss and intimacy in your own life.
Comforting Her: Your instinct to comfort her implies a protective and empathetic side to your personality. It reflects a desire to be supportive in relationships but might also indicate your own fears of inadequacy or helplessness. It suggests a conflict between wanting to connect deeply while grappling with what that connection entails.
Living Alone: Her living situation suggests independence and responsibilities that weigh heavily on her, akin to feelings of being adult-like and self-sufficient. It may reflect your own concerns about growing up, relationships, and navigating the obligations that come with them.
Buffering Reality: The uncertainty about whether you kissed her symbolizes doubts you may have about moving forward in your personal life. This suggests an internal conflict about vulnerability and your readiness for deeper emotional or romantic connections.
In summary, your dream seems to explore themes of intimacy, comfort, and emotional connection, as well as wrestling with societal expectations and unresolved feelings from your past. It invites you to delve deeper into your emotional landscape, examine your relationships, and understand your own desires for connection and support.
Consider reflecting on the qualities you admire in the girl and how they relate to your own aspirations for relationships.
